May 20, 2009 Begin homestudy paperwork
May 28, 2009 our fist meeting with our social worker
June 2, 2009 Kim's individual meeting with social worker
June 9, 2009 Nils' individual meeting with social worker
July 18, 2009 pre adopt education class, 8 hours
July 23, 2009 Home visit with social worker
September 8, 2009 Homestudy documents completed
September 25, 2009 received dossier instructions
September 30, 2009 Homestudy and I600A submitted to US Citizenship and Immigration Services in Boston
November 24, 2009 USCIS appointment and fingerprinting
December 1, 2009 received USCIS/fingerprinting approval
February 6, 2010 paperwork complete, sent dossier packet to our agency
February 9, 2010 dossier received at agency
February 24, 2010 received call informing us that our dossier was accepted and official wait date is Feb. 9, 2010

September 2010 expanded our age range request to 0-4years.
November 3, 2010 Pre referral meeting with Ethiopia case manager
April 20, 2011 STILL waiting ***sigh***
June 2011 updating, I mean completely redoing our dossier
June 29th 2011 REFERRAL!!!!! For a beautiful 3 1/2 year old little girl, "E"
September 8, found out about our court date...October 31, 2011
October 27 - Nov. 1 in Ethiopia
October 31 PASSED COURT
December 6, 2011 Cleared Embassy
December 20 Embassy Date
